We are very proud to announce the next SoCal Bar Fights event featuring Street Fighter 4! It’s going to be held TONIGHT Friday December 11th at Hooters in Anaheim at 7PM! We are holding a special double elimination SF4 tournament to find the best players in SoCal that want to be part of future Bar Fights & LA Riots events that we put on in the future.
The plan is to do more frequent events so that we will have a constant pool of high-level players that can be utilized for even bigger events in the future, such as LA Riots. Even the WWE has Raw on every Monday night, but Wrestlemania and the Royal Rumble only come along once a year!
Why Hooters?
Why NOT Hooters? The Anaheim Hooters location has recently been upgraded to all HD TVs and they are down with Street Fighter 4, so we thought it’d be a great place to run an event. Bar Fights I and II combined booze with Street Fighter 4, but now we’re upping the ante by bringing hot Hooters waitresses to the table. :)
Entry fee: FREE $5 if you’re entering the tournament (the tournament bracket is full, but please come to spectate!)
Payout: $250 BONUS added to the pot which will be split: 1st: 70%, 2nd: 20%, 3rd: 10%, 4th-7th will get other prizes to be determined
- 1st Place: 60% of pot + LA Riots II Invite + $120 BONUS
- 2nd Place: 30% of pot + LA Riots II Invite + $60 BONUS
- 3rd Place: 10% of pot + LA Riots II Invite + $20 BONUS
- 4th Place: $25 Hooters Gift Card + LA Riots II Invite
- 5th-6th Place: $10 Hooters Gift Card
- 7th-8th Place: Entry fee back
- $50 BONUS TO BEST MATCH OF THE NIGHT

Format:2/3 Rounds,2/3 Games, Double Elimination, 99 Seconds, No Handicap
Console: We will have a mix of Xbox 360s and PS3s, but Top 8 will be played on Xbox so we can record and stream it.

Pre-Registration: We are asking everybody to please pre-register for the tournament because it will allow us to make the brackets BEFORE everyone shows up so that no time is wasted on signups. We are capping entrants at 64 due to time constraints, but anybody can come watch for free!
UPDATE: The bracket is now FULL, but please come to watch because you can’t beat SF4, beer and H( *)(* )TERS girls!

Oh man! I’m from Brazil and I keep it up with every event in SoCal, NorCal and in the east coast through the internet. This one is the first event that I felt so unlucky for not being in US. Even tho I couldn’t throw a haduken with that woman on my neck. Guess I have to stick with the videos. yey -_-

This is gonna be a good tournament. Most people attending are using there actual names to register and not their handles, making it hard to know who’s who. This definitely makes it more interesting come tommorow.
Oh man…I wanted to register for this tournament. Is it possible if you to add me on the brackets? I am good for the money and I will arrive at 5PM. I asked for the night off from work and have been planning for this, but in my earlier visits to your site there was no registration link.

The bracket is already full so you should get on the waiting list. If someone doesn’t show, you might be able to get in! Either way you should come down
Will there a be a live stream of this event? I’m over in Northern Ireland but I’m still wants me some Bar Fights! p.s. Respect for taking the all the time and effort to organise these events gootecks, there isn’t really a scene over here and it’s inspiring as fuck to see this much dedication to Street Fighter. Peace!
