Holy crap, Gouken is officially in Street Fighter 4! Check this out:
You can’t make out very much aside from a shoryuken and a upwards fireball, but WOW, this is exciting news! I think we’ve all dreamed for years of being able to play Ryu and Ken’s master. This ties in with the hinting on the Capcom blog that there will be a new character unlocked on the 26th. Only two days away!
Props to T-Hawk on SRK for posting the scan. What do you guys think of Gouken? Excited? Or disappointed that there is yet another shoto in the game.

Awesome, very excited about this!!!
Especially being a Urien player, the upward fireball seems like it could be an awesome setup for a good combo just like Urien, and without air parry it seems more logical.
Never really heard of this guy,looks some what like Akuma’s dad.Seems like a pretty interesting character to know,he might have similar moves like Ken and Ryu.Cant wait to him in action.
If you can combo after the upward fireball, I may consider switching.

Gouken (剛拳, Gōken?) is a character in the Street Fighter series. He is the martial arts master of Ryu and Ken, as well as the older brother and former sparring partner of Akuma. Gouken is usually depicted as bearded man who wears prayer beads on his neck and a karate gi with the kanji mu (無), or “empty” sewn to the back. He plays an integral role in the series’ backstory and was first depicted in Akuma’s ending in Street Fighter Alpha.
