Just wanted to give everybody the heads up on a great new project that I had the honor of participating in. It’s called The Dogface Show and it’s starring Victor Ratliff aka dogface, who you may know for being one of the best at X-Men vs. Street Fighter, a previous episode of the Street Fighter podcast and his amazing Marvel vs. Capcom 2 commentary. The show is all about getting to know top players outside Street Fighter in a way that only dogface can do it because honestly, he’s one of the funniest and coolest guys in the Street Fighter community.
The show was a lot of fun to do and it’s a really unique and compelling spin on the whole Street Fighter thing. Here is the trailer, and from what I’m told, the first episode should be out within a week or so. Hope you guys like it!

Hey, gootecks! I’m not really a part of the Street Fighter community, and I’m nothing more than a casual fighting game player. However, I tune into your blog for every update and I’m fascinated by the culture of pro players in Street Fighter. I think professional play of almost any game can be as exciting to watch as anything else of competitive nature, and things like the Dogface Show really add a completely different dimension to them. Match videos are great and everything, but in a world where most people don’t even have to leave home to play games with each other, being able to tie in a face and a personality with the gameplay makes things that much more exciting! So please, pass the word on to dogface and Mike Ross that there are some outside observers who think shows like these is an absolutely brilliant idea.
That’s it from me, and I’m sure you didn’t need to hear that from some random online comment, but I think it should be said anyway. Keep up the great work!

From talking with everyone involved, that’s EXACTLY why everyone decided that this was an idea worth pursuing. Hopefully everyone else who sees it will enjoy it as well. Thanks again!
Thanks man, I appreciate the kind words and will definitely pass on the good word.
Ryan, I just registered to say thanks for doing the SF podcast man. It really helped make the wait for SFIV bearable and upped my game in really all games I play. Not only did the SF podcast help me with SF, but it changed my mindset for games in general. Just thought you’d like to know that your hard work reaches all the way out here on Guam in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
Now if only you, Justin Wong, and Combofiend didn’t bag on Guile (my main) so much
