Really fun show today! This episode’s guests are dogface and omni. You may know dogface from his X-Men vs. Street Fighter fame and omni for his Shoryuken co-founder and moderator fame. No high-level strategy this time, but it is a super entertaining show with two of the funniest guys in Street Fighter.
Topics covered include:
- Sunday Night Fight Night
- The real story behind the non-release of the Bang The Machine documentary
- The pre-Shoryuken days
- The rise, fall and rise again of the Street Fighter community
- Trading videos on VHS tapes
- Jason Cole impressions
Thank you to Will Slingsby for the album artwork!

Haha, probably the funniest podcast so far. Great!
One of the best podcasts I’ve heard. It was also nice to hear the real reason why bang the machine never was released yet.
Agreed, that was an amazing podcast. Those guys are hilarious.
If you guys actually did a tutorial on running tournies, I would totally run nor-cal tournies
What an amazing podcast, I couldn’t stop laughing those guys were so hilarious.
That had to be THE funniest podcast you’ve done. I enjoy the strategy talk a whole lot but this was really entertaining. That part that got me laughing so much when you guys were talking about the throws. That guy with “But you can see mine comin’!” LOL
Ah, awesome show as always.
Thanks for the kind words everybody! I’ll definitely have them on again in the future.
I would be front row for Sunday Night Fight Night.
I hope you guys look more into online competition in the future because being an Dayton, Ohio ST player, I really don’t have much access to top players (besides SB3,but it was hard to get around them because of it being so crowded) and I’m really trying to make my mark in the scene with HDR and SFIV. It seems this is going to be no easy goal, but with these podcasts, I know I will get fired up again to hit that stick and practice.
Keep them coming!!!
The blind guy you were talking about name is Brice Mellon good friend of mine I’m going to try to get him into the street fighter scene. Ill let him know about this site if you want to do a interview with him let me know and Ill try to set it up.
Shoryuken.com co-founder? Not quite.
