I’m back finally with a new episode! Sorry for the delay, I was consumed by holiday stuff. Anyways, this episode is a good one. It features Mike Ross, who you may know from his days as a Marvel player. It’s kind of a long show, but hopefully you like it because we had a lot of fun recording it.

Hey, i’m pretty serious about improving my street fighter game. I used to play street fighter II when I was a kid, and eventually alpha and a bit of 3rd strike. Now i really wanna train in street fighter 4. Street fighter influenced me when i was a child to get into martial arts. Since then i’ve done karate, jeet kune do, and right now boxing and jujitsu. My life is severely influenced my martial arts.

Wow this was a great podcast one of the funniest and most insightful so far. I’m stoked to hear you’re getting a 360 gootecks, I’ll have to connive my way onto your friends list somehow. I’d totally donate but as of right now I don’t even have enough money for my own copy of SF4, but who knows. I can’t wait for Cal regionals this weekend I’m forcing two of my friends who are not quite as into Street Fighter as me to tag along and make the drive from San Diego up to Denjin, we’re trying to get there when it opens so we can hopefully get some games in before good players show up, but yeah I hope I run into you and your prodigies there, I’ll definitely say hi!

Very awesome show, well worth the wait. I’ve recently gotten myself introduced to the AZ people and they’re pretty cool out here, even if I can’t compete with them at all. Turns out years of pad and keyboard play doesn’t mean crap for sticks =F
But hey, nobody ever said it was easy, right? I like what I saw of SF4 and I think that, once the console version rolls around, it’ll be my big chance to get somewhere in the fighting game community. If I had any money I’d pitch in like $30 to get you a 360, ’cause I would be really psyched to play someone good online that I can learn from.
As for the video project, I have one or two ideas I might mail Ross in a bit…

For a person who is maining E Honda, this had a couple of great tips.
I totally agree with the idea that people don’t know how to play Honda at the moment, and that’s getting me a lot of wins.
Loving Honda’s damage output (when he hits =P) and his amount of life!
As far as the talking about laying down the ground work for those coming up, I think the new characters on console will allow people to level the playing field pretty quickly. I am really excited for the future of Street Fighter in the new year.

this one was pretty funny and i’m really interested in following Mike’s video projects.
i was especially interested in the part when you touched upon matches against Sagat. interested but also disappointed that the character Sagat wasn’t further expaneded upon. i watch videos of him in JP and the guy is a friggin’ beast. i know there are plenty who’ll disagree, but Sagat needs to be nerfed and nerfed hard!

I am just a casual fighter who just loves the community, not someone who has high-level aspirations (I leave that for the people with the time and dedication). I wouldn’t mind sharing a couple matches here and there but I would be just as happy, if not more, if the time went to making someone better.
BTW don’t buy the fanboy hype from either side. Both are solid consoles, so go with whichever has the games you want, dude.

Dude, i’ll totally help out with this, Xbox LIVE is like the next best thing besides the arcades, i play on there alot since there are no arcades in the South really, i believe that everyone needs a 360 nowadays, many people have them, and its a great way to communicate with others with there being a Messenger, headset, and messages
