Here are the Street Fighter 4 Top 8 Finals matches from West Coast Warzone this weekend in Irvine, CA. John Rog and I do commentary, hope you like it. Lots of great matches including:
I’m over at Devastation right now in Arizona. Today is the first day of Street Fighter 4 and it’s going to be streamed live by djWHEAT and Slasher.
Aside from Street Fighter 4, the plan is to stream Tekken 6, Guilty Gear Accent Core, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Guitar Hero: World Tour, SF3: 3rd Strike, Marvel vs Capcom 2, SSF2 Turbo HD Remix, and King of Fighters XII. The video feeds for all the games will be hooked up directly to the cabinets for great quality. This will also be the first Tekken 6 tournament in the US, and the first major KOFXII event, in case you care about those games.
There will also be commentary by myself and whoever else we can collectively get to make the stream a little better. There is also a chat room, go to djWHEAT’s ustream channel.

Although we’re still waiting on some more videos to be put up on UFragTV (which include the player cameras as well as commentary by myself and Slasher, in the meantime Scott from the Arcade Infinity YouTube Channel has posted some videos to hold you guys over in the meantime. This includes the epic Mike Ross comeback which inspired that amazing photo by Kara (full site coming soon) from Get Your Tournament which you can download as a wallpaper.

Not too long ago I went down to G4 to do some SF4 Balrog strategy videos that you may have seen. In addition to those, we also did several shorter segments, the first of which aired on Xplay today and last night. I talk about learning how to piece together long combos and how to double-tap your buttons. Definitely not as in-depth as the Balrog ones, but hopefully they are useful to some of you guys (although most of you guys might be way past this point ).
Please leave any feedback and suggestions for future videos on the comments. Thanks!
Good news for those trying to learn Balrog! I recently went down to the G4 studios and filmed a couple of Balrog video tutorials. They are split up into two parts and altogether they are 22 minutes long. They are aimed at beginners so all you pros out there, please don’t tell me I suck because I didn’t go into more advanced stuff because we have to start with the basics first.
Amongst other things, I cover the following topics:
his best normals
basic combos
best uses for specials
best uses for Headbutt
how to use the Ultra
how to use the Super
basic setups
basic zoning
If you like what you see, please click on the Comment butto on the player which will take you to the G4TV.com page and leave a comment. If these videos get enough views, comments and suggestions, they’ll have me back for more and I’ll be able to do more in-depth tutorials or other characters. Thank you to Ben, Matt and Brian from G4 for having me and Triumvir for the gear.
